Who We Are
Senior Pastor, Jeff Williams.
Jeff is originally from Bangor, Maine in the United States.
He and his wife Debby have four wonderful children - Caleb, Luke, Grace, and Beth - and have been in New Zealand since 1986 and consider New Zealand to be their home.
Jeff has a Bachelor of Science degree in Theology from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri(1987) and a Master of Biblical Studies degree (1989) and a Ph.D. in Religion (1992) from the Bethany Theological Seminary in Dothan, Alabama.
Before coming to Blenheim and planting the Marlborough Bible Baptist Church in 1995 Jeff planted a church which is still active today, the Community Baptist Church of Dunedin and today it is pastored by Pastor Bob Rutta.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys collecting stamps and spending time with his family.
Assistant Pastor, Ben Morgan
Our church is privileged to have Ben Morgan become our Assistant Pastor to help Pastor Williams in the ministry. Born in Auckland but raised here on the "mainland", he felt God's call on his life and entered the Blenheim Bible Institute in 2002, graduated in 2005 (Diploma in Biblical Studies), and became our Assistant Pastor in 2006.
In 2010 Ben married Chelsea Townsend from Portland, Oregon in America and the two continue to serve God together. Ben is an practical hands-on type person and loves everything that involves getting wet or covered in mud including, but not limited to, sailing, dirt-bike riding, motorbikes. Strangely, Chelsea doesn't share his love for mud but instead enjoys spending her spare time with friends and family.
